The visionary Maria Längquist, co-founder of Bonliva, is a force that intertwines social impact with personal growth. Her journey showcases resilience, innovation, and a steadfast connection to her values. Maria’s vision of success is informed by both external accomplishments as well as a continued alignment with inner balance and acceptance. Her positivity stems from embracing life’s transient nature.
Bonliva is dedicated to supporting healthcare professionals as heroes. Even before the pandemic, Bonliva believed in stimulating an increase in the sharing of knowledge in order to contribute to added value for everyone who works in welfare every day. By laying the groundwork for open dialogue, Covid era communication was smoother and a symbol for safe care across the globe. Beyond business, physical pursuits like fitness, cycling, and yoga ground her. Laughter resonates in close friendships, and self-care involves meditation, Yinyoga, ample sleep, and reading. Her growth thrives on curiosity, embracing the new, and aligning with those who inspire. Maria’s journey epitomizes success, balancing growth, societal good, and embracing life’s vibrancy.

Mindfullness and Calm
Today, I define success more from the inside out. For example, how I lead myself through both ups and downs in life with greater acceptance and balance.
I love to work out, always have and always will. Everything from strength training, cycling, padel, yoga, etc. I have realized that exercise is a prerequisite for my “Brain Office” to have a break from time to time and it frees up my creativity.
Earlier in my life, I was bad at creating intentional mindfulness and calm, which in the past led to me feeling exhausted at times. But when I had children, I realized how important it is to get to know one’s own rhythm, and conserve energy. Then I found meditation and Yinyoga, which help me regain energy and be more in the moment. Then I sleep as much as possible, probably 9 hours per night. I have always prioritized sleep. In addition, I read a lot which is also a good way to just land and unwind.
I manifest a future filled with visualizations of what I want to achieve and positive outcomes for all my efforts. My friends sometimes think I am crazy but I often think about how I want to look back on my life as an 80-year-old – what have I experienced? What have I achieved in life that feels meaningful? What people have I had in my life? Did I have fun? I don’t take life for granted!
