Each LŪRA bag has its own Unique Digital ID, accessible through a QR code assigned to the bag once it is produced. Inside the Digital ID, through our LŪRA App, you will be able to see the complete history of the bag including when and where it was made, and the origin and description of all the materials used to create it.

In fact the word LŪRA comes from the language of ancient Latin meaning “sack” or “container” (which by the way is so fitting for our brand that contains so much more than just bags). Over the centuries Italian artisans have been perfecting the art of making bags so that today you can actually feel with your hands and with your heart what true Italian quality really entails. It feels like something that has been made to last forever, and for us that is one of the true definitions of luxury.
But luxury is not just about craftsmanship and quality, it is also about uniqueness, timelessness, and ethics. Yes, ethics. Defined as “moral principles that govern a person’s behavior or the conducting of an activity”, products that are made with truly ethical practices are rare. At LURA we embrace these characteristics in our production by making each bag one piece at a time, made to order, and personalized for the woman who will carry them, allowing each piece to be a special and unique treasure while at the same time eliminating any possible waste or overproduction that the world does not need.
