Emelie’s life has been a journey of passion and purpose. She discovered her drive and determination at a young age, organizing profitable school dances with friends when she was just 16. This early entrepreneurial spirit set the stage for her future endeavors.
Her inspiration for success evolved over the years. True success, she realized, lay in building something she loves, making a real impact in society and having the courage to challenge the status quo for equality and diversity. Something that has become even more important for her since she became a mother and, hence, being a role model for her daughter
Emelie has always lift up two main keys for success – finding business partners that are genuine, have the same crazy ambitions and where you always have each others back and step in when life happens, and finding a life partner that supports your dreams, failures and is equally involved in creating a family and secure that the private life also works.
Professionally, Emelie is a strong believer in continuous learning and she loves to surround herself with brilliant minds and she sets her own personal growth plans. Her instinct and curiosity led her to exciting opportunities and valuable connections.
In the face of life’s challenges, Emelie finds solace in nature, music, and laughter. These simple pleasures ground her and keep her positive even in the toughest times.
Currently, Emelie is taking on a new exciting board assignment and supporting the portfolio companies. She is also leading the fourth cohort of the deb. program together with her co-founders, committed to increasing diversity in Sweden’s boardrooms and secure professionalized boardwork.
What excites her most about the future is the rapid technology development we are in the middle of and the impact it will lead to, as well as discovering the impact of the growing influence of female energy in leadership and organizations.
